Education Qualifications
For Constable (Motor Mechanic)
- Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognised board aur institution
- Industrial training institute certificate in respective trade from a recognised institution; or
- Three years experience in respective trade from a recognised firm.
For Head Constable (Motor Mechanic)
- 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognised board.
- Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognised institution for industrial training institute with 3 year practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop for three year diploma in automobile engineering.
Pay Scale
- Head Constable (Motor Mechanic): (Level-4 in the Pay Matrix) 25500-81100/- (as per 7th CPC)
- Constable (Motor Mechanic): (Level-3 in the Pay Matrix) 21700-69100/- (as per 7th CPC)
Height & Chest
- Heeight: 170 cms (For SC/ST 162.5cms)
- Chest: 80-85 cms (For SC/ST 76-81cm)
